The University of the South will host the 2002 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) men's and women's swimming and diving championships.

The championships, which begin Thursday, Feb. 14 and run through Saturday, Feb. 16, will be held at the Robert Dobbs Fowler Sport and Fitness Center on the campus of The University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.

Sewanee hosted the first-ever SCAC swimming and diving championships in 1999.

In the three year history of the sport, Trinity University has won two men's (1999, 2001) and two women's titles (2000, 2001). DePauw's men won the 2000 championship, while the Sewanee women won the 1999 championship - both in their home pools. When Trinity swept both titles last year, it was also as the host school (@ Palo Alto College).
