2004 Men's Track Title
ATLANTA, Ga, --
By the narrowest of margins, DePauw University claimed its fourth SCAC
Men's Track title in five years. The Tigers out-pointed Centre College 178-177
to win the 2004 SCAC Men's Track & Field Championship Saturday afternoon at
Georgia Tech.
Rhodes College's 161-156 victory over Sewanee-University of the South at the
1993 Championships had been the closest SCAC Men's Track team finish.
Ryan New of Centre College was named the 2004 SCAC Men's Track and Field
Athlete-of-the-Year.
