SUWANEE, Ga. - Hunter Owen of Millsaps College was named the league’s Offensive Player-of-the-Year and Robert Flanagan of Rhodes College was selected the league’s Pitcher-of-the-Year for the second consecutive year in exclusive 2007 all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) voting by the conference’s head coaches. Rhodes fifth in first NCAA regional rankings
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has released this week’s Division III baseball regional rankings and Rhodes College is fifth in the South Region. The committee has ranked the top 15 percent of teams in each region, which amounts to Central – six teams, Mid-Atlantic – eight teams, Mideast – seven teams, Midwest – six teams, New England – nine teams, New York – six teams, South – six teams, and West – six teams. ATLANTA, Ga. - Oglethorpe University's Tim Ernst continued his assault on both the OU and SCAC record books, becoming just the 14th player in SCAC history to amass 200 hits on Saturday against Hendrix. Millsaps selected to win 2007 SCAC Baseball title
SUWANEE, Ga. - Based on voting by the head coaches in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), Millsaps College is the favorite to win the 2007 conference baseball championship. The Majors, who shared the SCAC title with Trinity University last season, received six of the 10 coaches’ votes.
