MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A day after scoring a tournament record 37 points, Oglethorpe's Anna Findley remained red hot and poured in a game-high 30 points to lead the Petrels to their first-ever SCAC Tournament final with a 73-68 victory over Rhodes College Saturday afternoon at Mallory-Hyde Gymnasium.

The sophomore hit 8 of 16 shots, including 6 of 8 attempts from three-point range, and also grabbed eight rebounds to lead Oglethorpe (21-6) to Sunday's championship game. The Petrels play the DePauw/Austin winner at Noon CT.

Caitlin Brightwell came off the bench after Biz Richmann reinjured her knee and supplied Oglethorpe with a huge 11-point, five-rebound performance. She also blocked three shots.

Rhodes (16-10) got another tremendous effort from Ashley Farrell. The junior had a team-high 27 points on 10 of 15 shooting and also dished out four assists and had three steals.

The score was tied at 31 at the half and Rhodes led by as many as 7 with 15:05 remaining but Oglethorpe went on a 10-0 run over the next two minutes to take a 46-40 lead.

OU stretched out the lead to 10 but Rhodes fought back and cut the lead to 3 inside of two minutes. But clutch free throw shooting by the Petrels down the stretch was more than the Lynx could overcome.

Crystal Jessee had nine points and 11 rebounds and Becky Atnip finished with 11 points for Rhodes.

Tina Grace finished with nine points and 12 rebounds for the Petrels and Jasmine Johnson also grabbed 12 boards. Oglethorpe out-rebounded Rhodes 48-32.

Katie Kulavic added nine points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals for Oglethorpe.
