SCAC names
Coaches-of-the-Year for Spring Sports
SUWANEE, Ga. -
After
exclusive voting by head coaches of each sport, the Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2007 Coaches-of-the-Year for
men’s and women’s track and field and men’s and women’s golf.

SCAC has three
named to Division III Ping All-America Team
Oglethorpe's
Urbanski named First Team
FISHERS, Ind.
- The SCAC had
three golfers selected to the 2007 Division III Ping All-America team,
led by junior Taylor Urbanski of Oglethorpe University who was named to
the First Team. Justin Palmer of Rhodes College was a Second Team
selection and Josh Abrams of DePauw University earned a Third Team nod.

Men's Golf Committee has announced the teams and individuals selected to
participate in the 2007 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships. Rhodes
College was the SCAC's automatic qualifier and Oglethorpe University received
one of three Pool C at-large bids.

Golf Coaches Poll Top 25
DePauw and
Trinity receive votes
NORMAN, Okla.
— Oglethorpe University and Rhodes College both moved up a place in the
latest Division III Golf World/NIKE Coaches Poll. Oglethorpe is now
fourth while Rhodes moves to sixth. DePauw University and
Trinity University both received votes.

Golf Coaches Poll Top 25
NORMAN, Okla.
— In the first Division III Golf World/NIKE Coaches Poll of the
spring season, two SCAC schools are in the Top 10. Oglethorpe University was ranked
fifth while Rhodes College was seventh. DePauw University and
Sewanee-University of the South both received votes.
