INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Committee announced 20 teams and 11 individuals that will participate in the 2008 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships. On Sunday (Apr. 27) in Danville, IN the SU women's golf team won the SCAC Championship and junior Marisa Mauldin (Utopia, TX/Utopia HS) won SCAC Golfer of the Year for the second straight year as the team secured its berth to the 2008 NCAA Division III National Championship in Waverly, IA. Southwestern improves to fifth; DePauw slips to ninth; Rhodes rejoins rankings at 22nd in Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches' Poll
Trinity receives votes

NEW YORK, NY — The third Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches’ Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine and the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). The SCAC has three schools ranked in the top 25 - led by Southwestern University at fifth. DePauw University slipped to ninth, and Rhodes College re-enters the rankings at 22nd. For the first time this spring, Trinity University received votes in the poll. Complete Release

NEW YORK, NY — The first Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches’ Poll of the spring season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine and the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). The SCAC has two schools ranked in the top 20 - led by DePauw University at sixth. Southwestern remains at 11th. Rhodes, who was ranked 19th in the last fall rankings, dropped out of the Top 25 but received votes. Complete Release
