SCAC names Coaches-of-the-Year for Golf and Track & Field
SUWANEE, Ga.
- After exclusive voting by head coaches
of each sport, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC)
announced its 2005 Coaches-of-the-Year for men’s and women’s track and
field and men’s and women’s golf.

DePauw's Gates
named First Team All-American; Amore is Honorable Mention
CHICAGO, Ill.
- The National Golf
Coaches Association recently announced the 2004-05 student-athletes and
coaches awards for Division III and DePauw's Sarah Gates was selected
First Team All-American. Teammate Lindsay Amore was named Honorable
Mention and Coach Vince Lazar was named Region II Coach-of-the-Year.

Competition in the four-round

The third-ranked DePauw women's golf team shot
a second-round 321 and won its fourth straight Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference title with a 649. The 321 was the best second-round
score in SCAC history.
