for 12 points (good for second on the team in total points).

OF DEPAUW UNIVERSITY, a sophomore defender from Louisville,
Ky., has been selected the SCAC Field Hockey Defensive
Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 25

over the Colonels.
Football - Offensive
JUAN JOSEPH OF MILLSAPS
COLLEGE,
a 6-2, 178-pound sophomore quarterback from Edgard, La., has been selected the

Joseph passed for a school-record tying five touchdown passes
as the Majors posted a 52-10 thumping on Lincoln (Mo.) University in
front of a hungry Millsaps crowd on "Purple Pride Day" Saturday at
Harper Davis Field. Joseph, who completed 18 of 35 passes for
275 yards, is the first Millsaps quarterback to throw for five TDs
in a single game since Beau Pollard led the Majors to a 52-16 win
over Greenville (Ill.) College in 1997. He is also the first SCAC
quarterback to toss five TD passes in a game since Daniel Swanstrom
of Rhodes accomplished the feat at Rose-Hulman on Oct. 9, 2004, and
it is just the ninth time this decade a SCAC quarterback has pulled
off the feat. For the season, Joseph has completed 50 of 91
passes for league-leading totals of 756 yards and nine touchdowns.
He also leads the league in total offense at 256.0 yards per game
and is third in passing efficiency with a rating of 142.0.

Tigers one-yard line. Johnson led the Colonels' defense to
their first shutout since the 2004 season. Centre held Sewanee to
just 196 yards of total offense, the second time this season the
Colonels have held an opponent under 200 offensive yards for a game.

a 4-0 win. Then on Sunday against Millsaps, Judah scored
Centre's final three goals - in less than a six minute span - as the
Colonels cruised to a 5-0 victory. It was the first hat-trick of the
junior striker's collegiate career and the first by a Centre men's

(third in the SCAC) and is averaging a league-leading 2.57 points
