2008 SCAC Men's Soccer Prospectus
SUWANEE, Ga.
-
There is a
familiar feeling heading into the 2008 Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference soccer season. Trinity University finished
second in the nation a year ago and has now won six straight
SCAC titles. The Texas Tigers will certainly be the favorite
headed into this season however there is a lot of excitement
around the campuses of the SCAC.

Trinity
second in NSCAA/adidas preseason Top 25
Trinity University, who
advanced to the NCAA title game last season before losing a
heartbreaker on penalty kicks, begins the 2008 season in the
same position it finished in 2007. The Tigers (23-1-0 in 2007)
is slotted second in the nation according to the NSCAA/adidas
men's preseason Top 25 poll. No other SCAC school received
votes.

appointed Head Coach of the Maccabi USA Junior Boy’s Soccer

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Preston
Goldfarb, Head Coach at Birmingham-Southern, has been
appointed the Head Coach for Maccabi USA’s Junior Boys’ Soccer
Team. The Team will compete at the 18th World Maccabiah Games
in Israel, July 13-23, 2009.

graduate, is returning to his alma mater as the head men's
soccer coach in an announcement made by director of athletics
