Trinity wins 13th straight SCAC men's net title

SEWANEE, Tenn. -
In a battle of top 20 teams, No. 11 Trinity defeated No. 12 DePauw, 4-1, on Sunday for its 13th straight championship. Trinity improved to 15-7, while DePauw dropped to 19-6.

Trinity has not lost a tournament match since Sewanee defeated the Texas Tigers, 5-4, in the 1993 final.

Due to the inclement weather, the seventh/eight place match and the fifth/sixth place match were not played.

The tournament was played in two cities and four sites, but mainly at the Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center on campus with the recently completed  pavilion/stadium.
