- After exclusive voting by head coaches
of each sport, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC)
announced its 2006 Coaches-of-the-Year for men’s and women’s track and
field and men’s and women’s golf.

Hendrix breaks
in new track
CONWAY, Ark.

President Cloyd was
joined by All-American runner Julie Coats and much of the Hendrix
College community on Monday afternoon to partake in the inaugural
“First Lap” on the college’s brand new track and field facility.

DePauw Men,
Trinity Women Take SCAC Track and Field Titles; Trinity's Hankins
and Byars sweep individual honors

SEWANEE, Tenn. - The
DePauw University men successfully defended their title with 184
points to out distance runner-up Trinity University (151), while
the Trinity women won the meet with 224 points, followed by
runner-up DePauw (143) and Rhodes (102) in third in the nine-team
field.
