 After exclusive voting by head coaches of each sport, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2007 Coaches-of-the-Year for men’s and women’s track and field and men’s and women’s golf. Complete Release

Forbes of Rhodes runs personal best at NCAA Championships
Lynx 4x400 relay team fails to qualify

OSHKOSH, Wisc. -
Freshman Kristin Forbes ran a personal best of 24.80 to finish ninth in the 200 meter prelims, just missing qualifying for the final field of eight in the event. The Lynx 4x400 relay team of Elizabeth Erny, Julia Goss, Emily Broocks and Kristin Forbes finished 6th in their heat with a time of 4:00.93. Complete Release | Host Site

oeffler and Dawson eliminated at NCAA Track & Field Championships

Trinity women's track & field standouts Emily Loeffler and Kate Dawson failed to qualify for the finals at the NCAA Championships on Thursday.  Loeffler finished 18th in the 1500 meter run, while Dawson just missed reaching the final after finishing 10th in the 400 hurdles. Complete Release

Breuer named South Region Coach of the Year

Trinity University head coach Jenny Breuer has been named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Region Coach of the Year for women's track & field.  Breuer led Trinity's women's team to its fourth SCAC title in the past five seasons, and two Tiger student-athletes have qualified for the NCAA Championships. Trinity sweeps 2007 Men's and Women's Track & Field titles
Loeffler and Byars named Athletes-of-the-Year

SAN ANTONIO, Texas
