August 4, 2008 Colorado College and Rhodes honored by AVCA (From AVCA website) LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced this past Tuesday that a record 354 teams earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2007-2008 season. The number smashes the previous high mark of 308 schools set a year ago. Colorado College and Rhodes College were the only SCAC teams to receive the honor.
